Canada Study Permit Process 2024 (Requirements for a Study Permit)

The term “Study Permit” refers to the Canadian Study Visa. International students can pursue their education at Designated Learning Institutes (DLI) with a Canada Study Permit. Since the government has placed restrictions on study permits, you may be familiar with the New Rules for International Students to Study in Canada. It is projected that in 2024, some 360,000 new study licenses will be granted to students from overseas. The majority of students will now need to attach to their study permit application a provincial attestation letter (PAL) from the province or territory in which they intend to study.

Foreign students can find work possibilities and a good standard of life in Canada. In actuality, they are eligible to apply for a postgraduate work permit after finishing their studies. Over a million foreign students were enrolled in Canadian universities in 2023, according to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). International students travel to Canada to further their education. Additionally, we have produced a piece about Canada’s list of BS, MS, and PhD scholarships. The Study Permit is not a Visa – Get ETA or TRV

When your study permit has been approved you will receive a letter of introduction that says you’re allowed to study in Canada. This letter is NOT your study permit. You need to bring this letter to Canada and show it to the immigration officer.

You will also get an electronic travel authorization (eTA) or a visitor visa (temporary resident visa) to enter Canada. If you are from a country that needs a visitor visa then the TRV Visa will be in your passport.
